Angel Distilling Yeast

Angel Thermal Tolerance Alcohol Active Dry Yeast

Angel Thermal Tolerance Alcohol Active Dry Yeast is a specifically selected high-quality alcohol yeast resistant to high temperature, alcohol and acid. It can be widely applied in alcohol and in potable spirit brewing of starch bearing materials such as sweet potato, corn, rice, cassava, sorghum, and saccharine rich ingredients such as molasses. • Temperature tolerance 42 °C (108 °F). Fermentation temperature range 28-42 °C (82°F-108°F). • Ethanol tolerance: ≤17%(v/v) • High Acid tolerance down to pH 2.5 reduces the risk of wild yeast and bacteria contamination while improving alcohol production. • High osmotic pressure tolerance up to 60% glucose • Robust growth with minimal nutrient requirements.

Pack Size: 500g, 10kg

Application

1. Directly add yeast into fermentation tank (batch fermentation): Each liter of mash is inoculated with 0.25-0.3g of dry yeast. The targeted initial cell count is 5 million cells/mL.

2. Propagation in culture tank: When the equipment and process allow, on the basis of strictly controlling bacterial infection and providing the yeast with the required nutrition, inoculate to ferment after culturing for 8-10 hours, so as to relatively reduce the yeast consumption. In consideration of the aging and degeneration of yeast in the culture process, the optimal inoculation replacement cycle shall be 72 hours.
