Quality is a cornerstone in our Business The Quality Control department at Gusmer Enterprises ensures quality standards are met for both incoming raw materials and final manufactured products. The
team also supports new product development, investigations, lab inventory, and other projects as needed.
• Performs required quality control tests on raw materials and finished goods per established specifications and frequencies. Tests likely cover chemical, physical, and microbiological parameters. • Conducts quality assurance tasks like weigh-outs, raw material inspection, and GMP audits. • Collects samples at various process stages - raw materials, in-process, finished goods - for lab analysis and testing. • Maintains calibration, cleaning, and maintenance of lab equipment and instrumentation. • Supports environmental monitoring and cleaning verification activities for manufacturing areas. • Follows health and safety policies and using proper biohazard controls.
Gusmer’s quality team comprises QC/QA technicians, a Microbiologist, a Quality Assurance and Food Safety Program Coordinator, a Quality Control Supervisor, and a Quality Manager. The department focuses on strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
