Employee Spotlight Making their mark in the brewing industry Eric May Technical Sales Representative Eric completed his B.S. degree in Viticulture and Enology at Cornell University. He also holds a certificate in Craft Distilling Operations & Technology from the Siebel Institute. Prior to joining Gusmer, Eric worked as a Head Winemaker in the Finger Lakes (NY) and later transitioned to Brewing Manager in Colorado. He’s a “yeast guy” at heart so he really enjoys the Gusmer nutrient portfolio but also considers brewery optimization as one of his preferred aspects of the job, so selling enzymes has quickly become a favorite. Eric’s territory covers Colorado and the upper western mountain states as well as Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Jill completed her B.S. in Biology at the University of Texas at Arlington, along with completing courses at the Siebel Institute and UC Davis. Prior to joining Gusmer, Jill worked for ten years as a Microbiologist in the food industry for a large corporation. Since joining Gusmer in 2016, her favorite part about working in the brewing industry is problem solving, especially in the areas of Quality Control and Microbiology. She finds that helping breweries solve problems by giving them a better solution or preventing them before they arise is rewarding. Jill’s territory covers nine states including Texas and the lower midwestern states. Jill Gallegos Technical Sales Representative Tom completed his B.A. in History and International Studies at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. Shortly after, Tom began his brewing career by attending the American Brewers Guild program and received a certificate in Intensive Brewing Science and Engineering. He has also earned a Diploma of Brewing from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling and is pursuing a M.Sc. in Brewing and Distilling at Heriot Watt University. Prior to joining Gusmer, Tom worked as both a brewer and cellar manager at a large regional brewery in the Midwest. Tom is currently a Key Account Manager and oversees several beverage Technical Sales Reps at Gusmer. His areas of expertise include brewing, fermentation, yeast management and filtration. Tom enjoys talking shop and discussing creative but practical problem solving approaches to everyday issues within a brewery. Tom Mondor Regional Sales Manager
