Sigrist TurBiScat PM 40 Inline Turbidimeter The TurBiScat PM 40 measures turbidity in beverages and can also (optionally) measure color in beer, with values given in MEBAK, EBC, or ASBC. The TurBiScat, therefore, can additionally become an inline color meter. The combination of Hastelloy and Sapphire in a seal-less design allows use in virtually all process applications. The TurBiScat PM 40 determines turbidity with optimum color compensation using scattered light measurement and is MEBAK/EBC compliant. The photometer measures scattered light in both 90° and 25° angles. The instrument can be used widely, with its dual angle measurement, in breweries from brewhouse to filter cellar, and from BBT to filling station. The operation of the sensor is monitored constantly. Calibration is easily done using a secondary reference standard. The TurBiScat PM 40 appears in a new, fresh design with integrated colored touchscreen display. Measurement values and curves, as well as data status, are shown directly at point of measurement. The checking unit is integrated as well, no additional device is required; this simplifies the installation and reduces the power consumption. LabScat 2 Dual-Angle Lab Turbidimeter The LabScat 2 is the benchtop companion to the inline TurBiScat PM 40. LabScat 2 monitors turbidity in liquids, using a single light source to detect transmitted light and scattered light at 90° and 25°.
